Yes! Your lessons will be completely private. An instructor will pick you up from home and will drop you off at home when the lesson is over. There will never be another student in the car.

The easiest way to sign up for lessons is to fill out our online Signup form. You will be contacted to schedule your first lesson.

Optional add-ons allow you to receive priority service which may prevent us from serving additional customers.

• Skip Student Waitlist: New and returning students may be waitlisted when we are very busy serving existing students. Customers who would prefer to not wait may choose to pay this fee to skip to the front of the line.

• Limited Student Availability Fee: Students who have busy schedules often have difficulty fitting into our daily schedule. Customers who would prefer to choose their own lesson time (subject to our availability) may choose to purchase this add-on.

• Rush Service: If lessons are scheduled with enough lead time, it is reasonable for the student to expect to be scheduled for one lesson every 7 to 8 days. If a student wishes to take lessons more frequently they may choose to purchase this add-on.

• VIP Pass: All Add-ons at a discount.

Your 5-hour course completion certificate is only good for 12 months, so it's best to learn how to drive before taking the course. 

Keep in mind that if you are under 18 years of age, you will need to wait 6 months from the date your permit was issued before you can take a road test. 

We offer the Pre-licensing Course (previously known as the 5-hour course) over zoom in two sessions. Each session is 2.5 hours long. Sign up for part 1 

Scheduling a road test is included in the cost of our Road Test Service. Our Road Test Service can be purchased on its own or as part of a lesson package. Scheduling a road test may also be purchased on its own. Visit mavendrivertraining.com/rates for more info.

Road Test Service includes:

• Scheduling a road test appointment with the DMV

• A 45-minute driving lesson which starts at your home one to two hours before your road test appointment time.

• Use the driving school car for your road test

• A ride home after the test

Road Test results are available online at https://roadtestresults.nyrtsscheduler.com/ by 6:00pm on the day you take the road test. In rare cases, results may be delayed until the following business day at 8:15am.
